The forks were quite straightforward to rebuild. The stanchions were sent to Philpots at Cradock Road Ind Estate - Luton who reground and replated them in hard chrome. The components of the shock absorbers were stripped washed and reassembled. New washers for the steering damper were made by Ray Daniels Girder Fork Repairs Birmingham.

The rear suspension needed a new pin and bushes for the swinging arm. These were provided by Road and Race in Australia. The bushes needed reaming to fit, but this was a straightforward job with an adjustable reamer.

The shock absorbers just needed stripping, cleaning, polishing and the end caps replating.
