Linda Hart’s art reflects her experiences of madness and sanity. Struck by the absurdities of being alienated because she sees the world from a different perspective, her art is challenging, multi-layered, and the colourfulness of it belies the darkness of its nature – dark in subject, yet with a wry humour. She belongs to the Untouchables Art Movement and to date she is the only member – not many people want her art to adorn their lounge! She is not looking for buyers, but trying to raise awareness of those who suffer from mental distress and the System that they are consigned to.
