As long as I can remember I've loved the changing light and colours of the landscape.  I grew up by the sea in Gibraltar, Cornwall, Scotland and Malta - each with their own unique light and colour through the changing seasons.  I want to catch a sense of that particular place.

Work ranges from observational plein air pieces to more abstract large canvasses or printmaking.

Work tends to develop in series - ongoing are a series on the coast through all weathers, times and seasons, another on woods and undergrowth and another is a series of canvasses abstracted from flowers.
