Valerie Land

Valerie studied art and design at Norwich and Farnham and took a post-graduate course at the University of Reading. For some years she was head of art in a private school. Since 1999 she has been professional artist living in Wales. As well as exhibiting Valerie also tutors adults in clubs and societies by invitation. Light is the focus of Valerie’s work so she will often visit a site many times in order to capture that perfect, fleeting, magical moment. These peaceful compositions feature relaxing, contemplative images which pay homage to a beautiful country Valerie accepts commissions.
